Pride Shadow Scythe Base

Inspired by Pride's shadow form from Fullmetal Alchemist: thick shadow bands surge out of rippled ground, curving up and forward into a C-shaped half-embrace, their tips flattening into heavy crescent scythe blades that face inward toward the figure at the centre. A dozen bulging almond eyes and a few torn, jagged gashes are scattered across the bands and the ground.

Painted over a black base: metallic blue fading through violet works as a midtone across the ground and the roots of the bands, with pale grey drybrushed along the upper scythe edges as the final highlight. The eyes are left pale with a pink iris and the teeth inside the gashes are brushed white — the sharpest accents in an otherwise unbroken darkness.
