Desktop Road Convex Mirror

This project brings the familiar orange roadside convex mirror down to desktop scale, providing a simple way to keep an eye on movement behind a workstation. The housing reuses the smoothstep hood profile from an earlier magnetic mirror frame, now rebuilt with a full backplate to hold a 77.2 mm mirror directly.

The orange mirror housing and black stand print as separate parts and join through a tongue fitted into the top of the cylindrical post. A compact rounded base and four reinforcing ribs preserve the character of roadside hardware while keeping the footprint practical for a desk.
